A bridge is a link or connection between two permanent structures. A dental bridge is very similar in that it attaches the restorative teeth (bridge) to the natural teeth on either side of the space. This bridge acts as new teeth, closing the gap and making your smile like new again. Bridges can be constructed of metal or gold foundations with porcelain attached to the foundation. This restorative solution is bonded to the natural teeth, and cannot be removed by the patient.

Understanding tooth proportion, color dynamics and anatomical nuances are key to achieving authentic aesthetic dentistry.  The patient presented to our office unhappy with the aesthetics of his existing upper teeth.  She had suffered from a life of gum recession and periodontal disease, her natural teeth were non-restorable. Utilizing dental implants, we were able to provided her with a new, naturally-aesthetic bridges with natural shade gradation and translucency with appropriate anatomical characteristics to recreate the hard and soft tissues that she had lost over time.
